Desde su último álbum, XTRNGR ha estado inmerso en la creación de nuevo material para Discontinurecords. Su anterior trabajo, Together le llevó a tocar en diversos festivales como Sónar, Mutek y el Mira, editando además un EP en Outlier recordings y colaborar en diversos remixes.

Ahora presenta Climbing, un álbum que evoluciona hacia una música futurista e iconoclasta de una camaleónica versatilidad de estilos. Sus ya conocidas atmósferas son esta vez más subterráneas y llevan al oyente a fantasear sin rumbo.
Su estilo pasa ahora por un sonido abierto, flexible y grueso. Ágil y peligroso. Los cortes de pista de baile contienen breaks más duros y oscuros, mientras que los temas menos pulsantes tienen texturas crujientes y formas ingeniosas. Alejadas de cualquier estética asociada con el uso de un determinado plugin. Pura electricidad en vena grabada al disco duro. La voz de MissQ contribuye en buena medida a esta percepción natural del sonido.

Al final de la escucha, uno tiene la sensación de haberse perdido en las sustancias que forman el cosmos electrónico de nuestro tiempo.

Since his last album, XTRNGR has been immersed into the creation of his new work for Discontinurecords. Together, his las album brought him to various festivals such as Sónar, Mutek and Mira. He has also released an EP in outlierrecordings and has collaborated in various remixes.
Now he wants to introduce us to Climbing, an album that evolves towards an iconoclastic and futuristic sound and a chameleonic variety of styles. His already familiar atmospheres are more obscure this time, leading the listener to randomly fantasize.

Now his style is more open, flexible and wide, but also fast and dangerous. The dancefloor oriented tracks have deeper and heavier breaks while the contemplative ones show crunchy textures and inventive shapes, far from any plug-in associated aesthetic. Like a shot of pure electricity. The voice of MissQ contributes to a more organic perception of sound.

When the listening is over, one has the feeling of having been lost in the substances that create the electronic cosmos of our times.
